From a technical stand point it is top notch. Expertly done.
But to seems like a easy path of 'Endless tracks of flesh'. I like the look of the shoulders and arms along with the high, shin boats since it looks like its part of a real uniform/outfit. I just find 'Endless tracks of flesh' so boring because so many people do it.
It almost brings back the same emotions from when I first saw Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell. Now, I don't mean they have any correlation with one another, other than possible ideals projected of them: advanced in physicality, thus technology, powerful and especially provocative. All of that working under equal balance. In the end, a well thought out work of art
The only thing that gets me on this picture is the way her outfit cuts at her crouch. You'd at least see the upper part of the clitoris, and that anatomy is just bugging me x,x Other then that, awesome pic, and awesome character.
Overlooking the oversexualized&overexposed aspects of this, I really like the piece. Amazing job with all the SF/techno elements, very cool designs. The character herself is also pretty neat, though I actually do think she'd pull an even larger fanbase and greater approval if she had just a smidge more covered. (A skintight bodysuit can be equally and sometimes even more sexy than the naked skin--because it still shows the feminine body form, but can have cool designs and therefore be more interesting than plain pink flesh, lol. Just my opinion.)
Okay, I can't be the only one curious how this got a DD. I've seen some weird stuff get DDs before now, and this has me wondering if it's not the artwork but the dame in it that got the award. (That is not meant to call you a bad artist)
No, you're not the only one who's curious. Seems a lot of Daily Deviations are of women like this. I'll openly say that the art is simply amazing! But it kinda bugs me that I have to see these kinds of things almost all the time ^.^; I'd like some more variety in the Daily Deviations than just "Hey look, a sexy woman half naked!". This kinda thing bugs me a bit, because I'm a woman, and personally don't like the way the media has people seeing women… <:/ it kinda offends me a bit.
Still, I'm not bashing this particular picture, because I can see a lot of work went into it! A lovely amount of detail was put into this, and all that work paid off. I'm just bothered with seeing "Sexy" women pop up in DD's all the time… lolz
